Who we're looking for?
We are looking to expand our Sales team by adding a Sales Development Representative, or SDR, to the team. This is a great opportunity to join a business that is in the relatively early stages of growth, yet has already built an outstanding reputation in the industry.
An SDR at Fliplet plays arguably the most critical role in the sales process, as without lead generation and booking meetings for the AE, Account Executive, there would be no sales revenue. So this role is the first point of contact with potential new Fliplet clients and its primary focus is to source new business targets for an AE to take into a sales process and ultimately turn into a client.
This is primarily an outbound sales role so you need to be hungry, tenacious, well organised, resilient and absolutely love selling! Key Responsibilities:
Your day will consist of qualification calls, lead-generation, cold-calling, prospecting via email, LinkedIn and other media. The objective of this outreach is to book in Qualification calls with potential clients and feed these leads to a senior member of the sales team to have a Discovery call.
We will provide you with marketing leads and support you in your targeting but you will be responsible for generating some leads through your own research, and managing the process of scheduling in Qualification and Discovery Calls.. The key responsibilities of this role are:

Initial Outreach/Outbound Prospecting:
- Identify and generate new sales opportunities
- Prospecting leads via Cold calling, email outreach, referrals, social media, webinars, events and networking
- Research each prospect’s business to understand their needs and tailor your pitch

Inbound Lead Generation:
- Follow up with warm leads that have arrived as an MQL (Marketing Qualified Lead) via telephone call and introductory meetings

Qualification:
- Assess potential leads’ fit and readiness for Fliplet’s product via BANT approach and good questioning
- Build a rapport with the decision maker and forge a relationship with the company

Setting Appointments:
- Schedule meetings for the Account Executive (AE) or Sales Manager to progress the sales process
- Coordinate schedules, share Qualification Call notes and ensure the lead's interest aligns with the company's offerings

Educating Prospects:
- Develop and maintain a high level of understanding of Fliplet’s product portfolio and value proposition
- Provide information and education about the company's products or services, focusing on the value they can bring to the prospect's business
- Answer prospects’ questions and address initial objections
- Sell the Fliplet proposition – The technology, the experience and insights, the best practice, the continuous support from account management and customer success, and the future developments and upgrades

CRM & Lead Management:
- Using our CRM (Hubspot) maintain and manage a pipeline of leads, keeping track of interactions, responses, tasks and follow-up activities
- Provide updates to management on key metrics such as number of qualified leads generated, conversion rates, and the success of scheduled appointments
In summary, the SDR serves as the front line of Fliplet's sales efforts, focusing on identifying and engaging potential customers, qualifying them, and passing them on to the sales team for closing deals. Their role is crucial in maintaining a healthy and consistent sales pipeline and ensuring the overall success of the sales team.

Communication:
- Intelligent, highly articulate and strong communication skills:
- Written: Excellent written English & ability to write for different audiences to produce different types of communication eg. Emails, instructions, training documents, presentations
- Verbal: Well-spoken and articulate. Professional, friendly phone manner.
- Listening: Active listening using empathy and understanding
- Comfortable cold calling with confident telephone manner
- Persuasive and persistent yet friendly and personable
Attributes & Attitude:
- High energy, proactive, willing to get stuck in
- Naturally comfortable speaking to people and building relationships
- Willing and able to follow processes and carry out instructions
- Driven and persistent, self-motivated and hungry to succeed in an outbound sales role
- A passion for technology
Experience:
- Previous outbound sales experience involving cold-calling is beneficial, but not essential, as we can train you on our sales process.
- SaaS or Legal industry experience is preferable but again, not essential.
